Disposable
Terminal Ducted Modules
Our slim-profile disposable TDM for ceilings utilizes the industry's
original "mini-pleat" manufacturing process for HEPA/ULPA ducted
ceiling modules. Designed and developed to provide the cleanest air
for products, personnel, and processes, this TDM is used in
unidirectional and non-unidirectional airflow cleanrooms, laminar flow
devices and HVAC systems throughout the world. Constructed of the
latest generation 41mm (1.61") mini-pleat filter element, our
disposable TDM meets or exceeds all industry standards.
Applications
Our disposable TDMs are effective against a broad range of
contaminants and are used wherever sub-micron filtration is required:
- Microelectronics
- Food Processing
- Biotechnology
- Packaging
- Semiconductor
- Aerospace
- Medical/Hospital
- Photographic
- Pharmaceutical
- Medical Device

The disposable TDM is used in both new
installations as well as to replace/upgrade existing facilities. Product Concept:
- 41mm media pack provides the most
cost effective solution for all critical applications.
- Lowest profile to fit tightest
spots.
- Lightweight, compact design; easier
for maintenance staff to handle, install and replace.
- 99.99% and 99.9995% efficiencies to
meet Class 10 (M2.5) - Class 100,000 (M6.5) requirements.
- Designed to fit 1-1/2"and 2" T-Bar
Grid Systems.
- Each filter is tested using an
automated detection system to assure leak free performance.
- Simple disposal - Just throw away
module when it reaches its final resistance.
Features and
Benefits of the Mini-pleat Filter Element
- Optimal combination of filter
element depth and pleat density for low pressure drop and extended
service
- Glass fiber filament separators
provide consistent pleat spacing and a rigid filter element to yield
uniform airflow velocity distribution.
- Glass fiber filament separators also
eliminate the "media-to-media" contact that can result in particle
shedding.
- State-of-the-art filter media grades
for the lowest pressure drops and the highest efficiencies.
Material of
Construction
- Heavy duty anodized aluminum
frames secured with a clip-lock mechanism for rugged leak free
construction. High strength method of assembly minimizes weight
for ease of installation.
- Rugged, fire retardant
polyurethane sealant completely encapsulates filter element to
assure leak free media pack to frame bond.
- Material is flexible for shock
absorption and thermally/chemically stable to meet out-gassing
requirements.
- Dimpled collar (10" or 12")
back-plate to prevent slippage of flexible ducting.
- Adjustable diffusion disc for
uniform airflow distribution (100 FPM ± 20%)
- Integrated white epoxy powder
coated steel grille (62% open / 24 gauge) protect filter media
from damage.
- Anodized centerboard with 2
access ports - one for disc adjustment, second for challenge
injection.
- Seismic tabs provided for
compliance with UBC requirements/standards.
